Business Development SolutionsQuality Medical performs repairs and preventive maintenance for a wide range of biomedical equipment with a particular specialization in respiratory and infusion equipment. Our expertise in infusion and respiratory equipment extends to a good understanding of the clinical aspects of the equipment which helps us deliver a service that fully meets or exceeds our customers expectations. We perform detail calibrations such as tidal volumes in-house wherever necessary to ensure that the repairs and PM’s fully meet the performance standards established by the manufacturers of the equipment.
Our engineers and technicians are factory trained and/or certified on a wide range of manufacturers and types of biomedical equipment. This makes it easier for our customers to use as as a one stop shop for all their biomedical equipment service and repair needs. We can typically turnaround a repair or service within 3 to 5 days in the service center. This is testament to the flexibility and experience level of our biomedical technicians who in many cases have 10 to 30 years of experience each. We maintain spare parts for all routine PM’s and a range of common repairs. We only use OEM approved spare parts in all repairs. We provide estimates for all repairs and wait for customer approval prior to commencing any repair work. If repairs are not economical, we advise customers to consider other options such as purchasing a low cost used equipment or renting equipment. We also have an active program to identify equipment that come back for repeated repairs within 12 month periods or “lemons” using the state of the art IT solutions coupled with the customer portal that we provide. All repair and services we provide are backed up by a warranty that covers the quality of the repair or service. S ince we actively acquire excess equipment from our customers we have a very stringent refurbishment process where we deliver equipment back to being clinically ready in every way. Our customers have an opportunity to acquire these refurbished equipment at a considerable discount to buying new equipment. In certain home situations our end-customers sometimes encounter both smoke damaged and insect infestation with respiratory equipment. We have developed special processes to clean such units properly and return them to a clinically ready condition. We perform re-certification work on all equipment that have been returned after patient use to ensure they are ready for use for the next patient. |
